Twi-Buddy Check 9 Day

Its the ninth of the month and that means one thing its Twi-Buddy check 9 day. Every ninth of the month I remind all the women in my life to do a self-breast exam and to schedule their annual pap smear. I had my annual exam this year already so yay Nya but I do need to do my self-breast exam every month. I hope you will join me this month and do the same. I have been doing self-breast exams since I eighteen years old every month.

The buddy check 9 program saves lives so I thought why not spread it to my twitter & twilight friends. I want to add another element to the mix though. Alex, my husband had a cancer scare  in 2004. He had a lump in his prostate it scared the hell out of us. He found out about it when I pushed him to have his annual exam. He was thirty four at the time and they did a biopsy and it was clear but he was lucky. Thank God for that but not everyone is so lucky. Please remind the men in your lives to have their physical exam. It could save their lives and your heart the pain of possibly losing your loved one early.

My best friends father, Benny, lost his battle with colon cancer after two years. He suffered and lived longer than the six months the doctors predicted that's showing em Benny. My point is that I nag the hell out of my father to have his annual exam and check his colon and prostate every year. Please give your dad or grandpa a chance to say you are over reacting rather than not having the test done at all. I would hate for another great man to die too early. Not to be preachy but I'm begging for the men who could have been saved if only their doctors could have caught it sooner before it was too late.

I love all my twitter buddies and fanfiction authors and readers of this blog so if no other reason blame me for asking your love ones to do this I promise you it will save lives if we do this together. Your co-workers, family, friends, and associates to remind the people in their lives we never know who could be saved from these small actions.

Thank you for reading these words and I'll see you around here hopefully next month on the same day the ninth. Let me know if you have any suggestions or things that we can be talking about around here. Oh a side note: those new chocolate cheerios are delicious and are the healthier choice if your children love chocolate cereals. Just saying, I know that was completely random but so true.

Until next time folks! I love you! I love my followers you rock my tube socks! Please excuse the errors I need a beta for this blog. Seriously.
